Recruitment for London covers the 3 HEE Local Offices of London (Health Education England working across North Central and East London, Health Education England working across North West London, and Health Education England working across South London) and encompasses the majority of the area within the M25 on both sides of the River Thames and some Greater London suburbs. The urban geography is diverse and surprisingly green, with more parks and green areas than any other city of a similar size.
London's population has grown significantly in recent years both from births exceeding deaths and by immigration with almost one third of Londoners from non-White ethnic groups. London is very ethnically and culturally diverse, and has both some of the richest and poorest areas in the UK.
London is home to numerous museums, galleries, libraries, sporting events and other cultural institutions, including the British Museum, National Gallery, Tate Modern, British Library and 40 West End theatres.
